Defence Industry Data
Europe counts on a comprehensive, precise and updated picture of the different components and actors the European defence industry is factually made of. Without a comprehensive and accurate data tool it will not be possible to map and evaluate the future EDTIB.
Therefore, the European Defence Agency, through its Industry and Market Directorate, has been tasked to create a Defence Industry Data (DID) mechanism.
Its specific goal is mapping the European defence industry, including the identification of relevant companies inthe different sectors (land, naval, aerospace etc.) both large, and small and medium-sized enterprises, as wellas their most relevant commercial, financial and organisational parameters.
