Workshop: Doing Business with European Security and Defence Bodies

The Austrian Economic Chambers, together with the Austrian Ministry of Defence and Sports and the European Defence Agency organise workshop bringing together buyers and suppliers in the field of European Security and Defence. The workshops aims at providing specific guidance to European industries on how to engage successfully with EU institutions, such as the European Commission and the European Defence Agency.

Given the increasing efforts of EU member States to pool their demand through common or centralised procurement by or through EU bodies, these EU actors become more and more prominent as customers for European industries. Therefore companies throughout Europe should be aware of the opportunities but also specificities in this segment of the Internal Market.

The workshop will tackle all different fields of the European Security and Defence Market, including Security Research, Defence R&T, European Development Programmes and Off-the-Shelf Purchases of both goods and services.
