European Framework Cooperation (EFC) Workshop

The European Framework Cooperation (EFC) Workshop on the Joint Investment Programme Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (JIP CBRN) will take place 15 September 2011 at the Université Catolique de Louvain's Auditorium C, Brussels.

The goal of the workshop is to exchange views and ideas on the JIP CBRN first call topics “Next generation Detection for B and C agents and Modelling & Simulation of CBRN architectures”. The JIP CBRN Management Committee (MC) can use the ideas from the workshop towards defining the first call for proposals to be issued following the signature of the Programme Arrangement (foreseen end of September). The workshop will provide an experts panel presentation/discussion and sessions with industrial views.

The workshop is in cooperation with European Commission and ESA. During the workshop, the signature of the EFC coordination letter by the EDA and the European Commission (EC) will take place. ESA is expected to join the EFC coordination scheme later.

The workshop is open to interested stakeholders. The European Commission will invite their FP 7 SEC CBRN stakeholders.

Please note that invited industries are not automatically placed on the list of potential contractors. The JIP CBRN MC will decide on this list of potential contractors.
