The EDA Steering Board, in its National Armaments Directors (NADs) formation, met at EDA on 10 May. Following an informal exchange of views with US Under Secretary of Commerce Eric Hirschhorn, they discussed, in a formal session, a wide range of issues including Pooling & Sharing, Air-to-Air Refuelling, Defence Industry and Market issues, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and SESAR. The meeting was also attended by a representative from Norway; and NATO and OCCAR attended the afternoon session.
