The European Defence Agency (EDA) organises the IF CEED First Annual General Conference from Monday 5 September to Wednesday 7 September 2022 with the support of the Luxembourgish Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Directorate of Defence.
During the Conference, the participants will reflect on the work carried out since the start of the Incubation Forum in October 2021, assess the state-of-play and define the way ahead regarding the work plan for the second year.
The event will allow participants to hear from high-level speakers about the main challenges regarding green transition in the defence sector. They will also be able to develop roadmaps and project ideas within the nine IF CEED Project Circles and discuss topics related to circular economy, Environmental-Social-Governance (ESG) criteria and green transition in defence.
The event is open to representatives from Member States’ Ministries of Defence, as well as to any validated IF CEED expert from e.g. public bodies and industry. As the exchange between experts and decision-makers is key for its success, IF CEED will cover the EU participants’ expenses.
High-level representatives and experts from the Government of Luxembourg, the European Commission, the European External Action Service, the European Investment Bank and EDA have already announced their presence at the conference.
