The European Defence Agency and European Commission’s DG ENER organised in the context of the Consultation Forum for Sustainable Energy in the Defence and Security Sector (CF SEDSS III), the second joint defence and energy meeting. This event was hosted under the auspices of the Swedish Presidency of the Council of the EU (SE PCY) and the Ministry of Defence of Sweden (SE MoD).
The event was held on 8 and 9 June 2023 in Stockholm,
High-level representatives from ministries of defence, ministries of energy, and the European institutions shared best practices for strengthening cooperation in tackling energy security challenges and explored how to better contribute to implementing the European Green Deal and moving towards climate neutrality by 2050.
