The IF CEED recently launched its Knowledge Platform and Virtual Helpdesk. Designed to support the transition towards circularity in European defence, the platform is intended to serve as a valuable resource for exchanging best practices, sharing lessons learned, and providing information on implementing circular economy principles within the sector.
The platform offers an overview of key policies, case studies, publications and projects previously incubated under the IF CEED. Notably, it features a dedicated section on green procurement in defence, including insights into national strategies, standards, labels, and best practices: this area also aims at sharing examples of green procurement criteria already used by Ministries of Defence across Europe. As IF CEED projects are moving towards implementation, the platform will be the place to consult project results and guiding information in the upcoming months.
In addition, the Virtual Helpdesk is a feature that allows users to navigate the website with ease and reach out to the IF CEED team directly. Whether you need help finding specific information, identifying potential collaboration opportunities, sharing your own insights with the community, or providing feedback, the Helpdesk is there to assist.
With a growing repository of resources and a commitment to expanding its content, the IF CEED Knowledge Platform is set to be an essential tool for defence professionals seeking to implement circular economy strategies and practices in their operations.
Any comments, suggestions or feedback on the platform are welcome either through the Helpdesk or directly to circular.economy@eda.europa.eu
