EDA REACH Meeting

For the first time participants from industry are invited to the European Defence Agency event on the Registration, Authorisation, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) and its defence implications.

During this meeting, the EDA activities on REACH will be presented, including recent EDA Task Force work on Ammunition Classification under REACH. The Commission will update participants on defence related REACH issues. ASD/REACH Implementation Working Group (RIWG) will provide a presentation on industry’s REACH activities, followed by a presentation by FR GICAT, based on its substantial work especially related to ammunition classification under REACH.

The REACH meeting sessions with industry participation are scheduled on 3 November 2014, between 09.30 and 15.00, and are now open for registration to industrial stakeholders interested.
