SIEGE ENGINE 2024 (SIEG24) is an EDA-supported multinational live exercise and Category B EDA Project scheduled for 20-28 June this year, in the Paphos District of Cyprus. This exercise aims to convene the European military search community to advance the EU’s Capability Development Plan.
Around 150 troops from four EU Member States - Belgium, Cyprus, Ireland and Sweden - will participate in an exercise hosted by Cyprus. Seven search teams, two Explosive Ordnance Disposal teams, navy divers, and K-9 dogs will be deployed during the exercise. A distinguished Visitors Day and Media Day on 26 June will provide a first-hand glimpse into the collaborative efforts of participating nations and the shared commitment to European defence.
