Lessons identified from recent operations have reconfirmed that Air-to-Air Refuelling assets are key force multipliers, which improve the effectiveness of the deployment of forces and maximise the use of fighter aircraft within a theatre of operations. It is assessed that the current capability of overall European Air-to-Air Refuelling assets limits both operational and training options.
The purpose of this Request for Information is to gather information about commercial solutions for Air-to-Air Refuelling. The information provided will be assessed by EDA and governmental subject matter experts in order to support possible further steps over providing operational and training support solutions.
