OCCAR-EA, in close collaboration with the German 2011 OCCAR Board of Supervisors Chairmanship, organises an "OCCAR 10 years event", in Bonn, on 1 June 2011. This event aims at looking back at OCCAR achievements in its first 10 years, to make a round-up of its capabilities and to look forward to the opportunities and challenges OCCAR will face in the years to come. To make the occasion, Ms. Claude-France Arnould, EDA’s Chief Executive, will deliver a speech on the importance of the EDA-OCCAR partnership in the Capability Development Process. Ms. Arnould will highlight the important roles of EDA and OCCAR in this process, with the objectives of improving European defence capabilities and maximising civil-military synergies.
