What we do

• To generate project ideas contributing to build an EU-endogenous supply chain for CRMs in Defence.

• To assess the full circularity potential of Additive Manufacturing in Defence.
• To develop military requirement for Additive Manufacturing deployable solutions.

• To avoid contamination, presence of impurities and degradation in the textile recycling process in Defence.
• To pre-evaluate the circularity levels by design, especially for textronic-based textiles.

Stake:

• To contribute to make the eco-design framework applicable to the broadest possible range of defence capabilities and make it deliver on circularity.

Stake:

• To explore the possibilities to implement the Eco-Management and Audit scheme (EMAS) in selected military installations.

Stake:

• To support Ministries of Defence (MoDs) to procure goods, services and works with a reduced environmental impact, throughout their life-cycle.

• To enable circularity via an appropriate exchange of defence-related data.
• To balance the need for information sharing and confidentiality.

• To enable increased reuse of spare parts value in Defence by common pooling and sharing.
