EDA is contributing through the Materiel Standardisation Group (MSG) to the harmonisation of the European Defence material standardisation. Industry is a key stakeholder both for development and application of standards. The EDA-industry standardisation conference (4 April 2013) aims at enhancing information exchange among standardisation experts from participating Member States and industrial representatives.
The conference will inform about ongoing standard relevant activities in the field of military land vehicle systems, vehicle components including sensors & effectors and supply chain and collect industrial views on the subject. Furthermore the event is expected to revitalise the idea of best practice standard recommendations for military land vehicle systems. The main aim is to give industry a floor to discuss standardisation management issues on military land vehicles with governmental experts.

Registration
The conference is open to industry and without any fee. Registration is necessary and only confirmed registrations will entitle a participant to attend the conference. Registrations have to be send by email to armaments(a)eda.europa.eu .
