The European Defence Agency (EDA) organises the IF CEED Second Annual General Conference, taking place from Tuesday 16 May to Wednesday 17 May 2023 in Madrid, Spain, with the support of the Ministry of Defence of the Kingdom of Spain and FEINDEF (The International Defence and Security Exhibition).
The main programme of the Conference develops at the hotel NH COLLECTION MADRID EUROBUILDING on 16 May (h. 09:30-17:30) and at the FEINDEF Exhibition on 17 May (foreseen conclusion h. 14:00).
OBJECTIVES AND PROGRAMME
Within its Project Circles (PCs), IF CEED has been incubating collaborative and transnational project ideas: the Conference in subject represents a key milestone highlighting, discussing and disseminating their potential.
Besides staking forward the specific activity for some PCs, the Conference mainly develops a transversal and cross-fertilising approach among them, by liaising their respective experts and igniting synergies. The opportunity to self-organise one-to-one meetings is also available within the registration website.
The concluding plenary session takes place during the opening day of the Spain’s International Defence and Security Exhibition, FEINDEF 23, at Ifema. FEINDEF anticipates an attendance of over 450 exhibitors from about 20 countries and 100 foreign delegations: it is a reference event that encompasses the defence and security sector, to innovate, cooperate internationally and share knowledge among companies and institutions. The hosting of the final moment of the IF CEED Conference by FEINDEF represents a reciprocal acknowledgement of the respective relevance of these endeavors and highly increases the visibility of Circular Economy in European Defence.
